My son is 10 y.o. boy, gifted, happy, drives a powerwheelchair, uses DynaVox to communicate, is severe quad. We are entered puberty and he takes 2 muscle relaxers but they seem to wear off quickly. Botox does not work and we're having trouble changing his diaper with the tightness. the muscle release surgery for his hams/aductors will not work because of his dystonia. Positioning and seating is very difficult as well. Our docs say only the Baclofen pump will work for him. It's so invasive, we want to know what other options could work. Any ideas?
