Not long ago I had a cookie baking party with my kids and some of there friends....while we where making cookies a girl whom my son had never met came over to talk to him and he hid behind me, when i asked him what was he doing he said he did not want her to see his brace because she might make fun of him. I notice as he gets older that he is more self concious of his AFO. I have told him that if people dont like him for who he is then there not someone he needs as friends anyway. He is very paticular about how he dresses for school he always ears polo shirts.........and he gets really upset because he cant do most of the physical things in gym that is required i am lost as to what to do to make him feel better any help would be great

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
i dont know how much of this youve already done..just stuff that helped me :)
hope it helps you!
