I am trying to make my son some GF muffins from a cookbook written for kids (but in the UK) and it calls for 1/2 cup rice bran. I could not find it (nor do I really know what it is) and wondered if anyone knew what I could substitute for the rice bran. They are spicy carrot muffins and they also called for 1 1/2 cups of GF flour. On hand I have GF all purpose baking, soy, and white rice. Any suggestions on which to use or how to combine them to make the muffins taste the best. Any advice to help this "lost in the kitchen" mom would be great! Thanks, Melinsc

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
