hi all , i am new here . i have celiac serology , and am scheduled for a gastroscopy on the 23rd . apart from the fact that i am eating crazy amounts of wheat , dr.s orders , i am a bit worried about the fact of having a bit of my small intestine cut out ( for the biopsy ). i am mainly wondering what is the best way of rehabilitating my small intestine . obviously i am planning eliminating ALL gluten . i also think its probably better also to go for easily digested food . i read some where that some foods have pre-biotics , ( mangos , pineapple don't remember what else ) . what else should i consider ? i know its a good idea to dodge dairy and eat lots of fresh fruit and veg. what helped you to recover good health ?
thanks in advance .

Kazza--good luck on your test. I agree with Jette. Probiotics are great. I found that by eating lots of rice (if you're able) helps soothe my gut. Let us know how the test comes out.
