My Dr is big on supplements and blood work to check for vitamin and mineral deficiencies, which is what led him to suspect Celiac in my case. I have now been gluten free for 3 months or so, and just got the results of my latest blood work yesterday. 2 of my deficiencies are better, and, esp in the case of the niacin, I have not been taking anything to help it. (He insisted on non-flush niacin, and my stomach could not take it). Of course, I DO still have some problems, but this is the first sign(other than how I feel) that I am FINALLY on the right track. Woohoo!!
