Watch out for IHOP's omlets. They put pancake batter in their omlets. I asked for a real egg omlet with out the batter, and exsplained that I had an allergy. When I had eaten almost all of the omlet I rolled it over to find my eggs looked like a pancake. The cooks put a scoop of batter in my omlet after the waitress told them not too. I am paying for it now. I have been sick and bloated with horrible gas and diarrhea. Eating out is really hard, because you don't know what goes on in the back with your food.

I only eat poached eggs when we go out to breakfast. I tell them to use a clean freshly washed sauce pan with fresh water to poach my eggs. I tell them that I could die from this disease. (WHich I nearly did.) That usually gets their attention enough so that I get a GF meal just the way I ordered it. Also, I always speak to the manager to ask if they feel that they can meet my need for a GF meal. Talking to the manager gets the attention of the wait staff and most will talk with the cook/chef to ensure that I get good food.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
