my blood work as far as i know was negative for celiac disease however, I have sharp folds and a suspicion of scalloping in my small intestines that were seen on my endoscopy, my pathology showed rare intraepithelial lymphocytes in my small intestinal mucosa. However, my GI says i'm normal, but he thinks I should try a gluten-free diet, I am feeling a little better but I want a definite diagnosis. I was wondering if anyone else has gone through the same thing, or has heard anything about IEL'S in celiac disease.
