Ok, this is going to sound weird, so bear with me. I first had hot flashes when I went gluten free about a year and a half ago during the "withdrawal" stage (lasted about a month). Recently, I have been cutting way back on calories and have lost a little weight, but the hot flashes have been HORRENDOUS! This week, I have been not watching calories and eating a "normal" gluten free, dairy free, soy free diet and they are GONE. I am not on herbs or anything right now and this is making me wonder about trapped gluten in body fat. Could this be from traces in body fat from a leaky gut? Is this possible? Any thoughts/links/experiences welcome!!
