my son is 14 and has been on a gluten free diet for 9 months. He is very small and has not yet started going through puberty. Prior to his Celiac diagnosis, he took daily growth hormone shots in hopes that these would help him grow and develop. Once he was diagnosed, his dr. stopped the shots. Last week he had a blood workup and the results were not good. The enzyme they test for growing was at a 100 level and it should be between 600-900. The dr. wants to start the shots again. We are so depressed. Is there anyone out there who has experienced this with their children. I'd like to chat if there is.

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
