So far I have gone through this on my own without a doctor, well at least without a doctor who knows what he's doing. I have a few questions though that I'd like to bounce off of everyone. The first is what is the difference between CD and a gluten allergy, my dad says he has an allergy and it is not CD but then I notice that he can eat things that I can't, is an allergy less severe? The second question I have is: now that I have gone a few months on a GF diet can I be tested for CD without having to suffer through going back on a regular diet? The thought alone on a non-GF diet makes me want to cry. I am confused but I have little faith in doctors so I come here first...By the way anyone know a good GI doc on the front range in CO?
