my neighbors have a female cat that they will not have spayed, she has had so many litters of kittens it is unreal. I always feed them, but they are never tamed, just feral cats. Right now she has, well had 5. When my son and I went to feed them last night one of the kittens let him pick it up, I told him put it down, because that was strange to me. He said it was purring. I told him that it looked kind of sick, but never gave it a second thought. This morning when I got up for work I looked out the window for them all, they were all still there, but he was dead. The others all seem fine, it was the saddest thing they would not leave him, they all stayed there even when I went outside, and they usually run. I know I may never knowq what it was, but I just wonderd if I should be concerned for my house cats and my son for picking him up?
