there have been a few cats getting stung by bees (in my neighborhood) usually there are no ill effects afterward but the cat in question sound be monitored as some do become allergic to the point of anaphylaxis, which is life threatening..anaphylaxis wont show the first cat is stung, but the 2nd time is when the trouble begins..if your cat is stung for the first time do tell your vet..treatment usually consists of scraping the stinger out soon as possible, mixing a paste of baking soda and water and applying it to the sting will help neutralize it..(if its a wasp than a vinegar compress will help) also ask your vet about dosing kitty with benadryl.. Some cats do like to smell flowers lol and some flowers do harbor bees so kitties beware!..
