I have severe carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand and moderate carpal tunnel in my left hand, which began while working as a dog washer. It was the constant squeezing of the hose nozzle over and over. I'm on L&I now and have been told by my doctor that I need to have surgery. Since I began my L&I claim, my employer fired me and I'm no longer working. My hands rarely hurt anymore, except sometimes at night. I'd like all the advice that I can get regarding if I should have the surgery or not. Is it worth it? How many have had positive results and how many have had negative results. Has anyone else tried alternative therapy? And if so, how did work for you? What did you have done? I'm very confused and need all the advice I can get! HELP!!! Thank you!

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
