We buried my mother on 12/21. There was snow on the ground but a perfect day at 50 degrees. I miss her. The priest didn't know her but did a wonderful sermon at the grave site. He tied in into Xmas & how everyone is thinking about gifts this time of year. He said God gave us the gift of my mother all of these years and know we have giving my mother back to him as a gift. That really helped me. I know my mother wouldn't want me moping & sad on Xmas so I will count my blessings intead, watch basketball, eat & relax.
