We are expecting Hurricane Noel to hit New Brunswick (where I live) some time after supper tonight. Am prepared. Stocked up on canned goods, water, batteries for radio and flashlight, candles, blankets, etc. as they say we should expect to lose power for a while. So may not be on until this is all over (late tomorrow night). Hubby is working until 6:30 p.m. (another 3-4 hours - will be glad when he is here with son and I). I have put away our lawn chairs, BBQ etc. in our garage. We should be OK. Have some wood ready for the fireplace to keep us warm (it is about -1C outside (kind of nippy), but have the heat up for now to warm up the house. Also took out cards and board games to keep us busy tonight (by candlelight). Have lots of food (bread etc to make sandwiches). Am kind of nervous (can you tell?) since we are not used to having hurricanes (as a matter of fact, this is the first time in my memory that there are news flashes on TV about Emergency Responses and how to be prepared). May not turn out to be much but that may be optimistic. Will come back here when things settle down.... Take care my friends. Love to all.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
