I just tuned into a talk radio show.. Love them.. Anyway. It was a whole show about Hospice and how the Feds have put a cap on funding for hospice care..from what I understand is that If a person is given a year to live and they live longer they will not be eligable for continued Hospice care through medi care.. Now that is HORRIBLE.. some people like my Mom who was given 6 months to live and maybe had required Hospice care... would have outlived the time given.. THEN WHAT..? it would mean that she or others would have to go to a hospital at a cost of thousands.. most would need ambulance and etc.. Instead of funding 200 a day for hospice care.. It would cost taxpayers MUCH MORE IN HOSPITAL FEES.. and the patient could not have the comfort or the choice of dying in a hospice home or AT HOME.. I hope to be able to read more about it today.. This would be awful.. We as caregivers need to check with our elected officals.. love D

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
