Hi there all! I just wanted to share my frustration and hopefully get a little advice. I have a degree in education, and have recently been trying to get a position as a teacher after staying at home with my kids for 7 years. They are all in school full time now so I feel the time is right. However, I have applied in several districts (including the one in which I currently work as a part time aide) and have not even gotten an interview! I just got a call for one today, but I am not very hopeful as I got 2 last year and they went horribly. I feel a little discriminated against for staying home like I did, and do not understand why the district I work in now was not willing to even interview me!n I get good performance reviews, and have the support of the teachers at the school ( they seem as confused as I am about it). Anyone ever experienced something similar or have any words of advice? Interview tips would be great too as I feel I could use them before Monday.....

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
