Hello everyone..I just had my daughter on the 27th and I am having problems breastfeeding her. Any help and or advice would be appreciated!! My milk came in and my breasts are rock hard and she was having trouble latching on b/c she could not get my nipple in her mouth. Now I am icing them and will get the manual pump I have and pump just enough to get my nipple to stick out so she can latch on. Well she goes through this latching and then releasing my nipple. She seems like she doesn't want to latch on but I know she's hungry. I am not sure what I am doing. I have tried different positions also. Sometimes she will latch on and eat continuously. I just don't know how to make her do that. Sometimes I have to give her formula to make sure she is eating enough.
