I had a bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction 2 weeks ago for interductal carcinoma in the rt breast. My sentinael nodes were negative. My surgeon feels this is a cure and that I will not need to be seen by oncology. As I live in a large city with a well known cancer center close by, one of my surgeon friends thinks I should get a second opinion from the cancer center. Any thoughts or similar experiences?
