I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I develped nuerapathy from my chemo! I take lyrica for the pain. My pain is mostly in my hands and feet! Some days it isn't to bad so I don't take the lyrica. I never know what caused it to flair up,,,I am on tamoxifen and that also causes muscle and joint pain.
hope you find some answers!

And then if you had Taxol, I think it can have delayed effects, too. I hope this helps and I certainly hope you feel better soon. Please take care.

As for the leg pain, did they check for any sort of clot, tenderness, etc.? I truly believe there are a lot of side effects to the hormone drugs that doctors don't really know or think about as they are not listed on the patient pamphlet. Also, if your estrogen is lowered from having your ovaries out, that low estrogen causes a lot of side effects, too. I have been reading a lot on this lately as I have been feeling crappy, too, and my oncologist hasn't really made much for recommendations. I am on Mobic, but I don't think it's helping. My good chemo friend had her ovaries out last November and is on Arimidex for the 5 years. We were both told that if we had our ovaries out, we'd take Arimidex or Aromasin for the 5 years to stop any estrogen driven tumors.
I am really interested to see how the Lyrica works, as my pain worsens daily and I need to take something better for pain or stop the Tamoxifen, which I'm trying not to do. Please take care and let me know how you do.
