I got a scare a couple weeks ago when I was told they saw a mass on my mammogram that wasn't on the previous one, at the areola. i went for the diagnostic mammo. They had me wait for the results, and the tech said they were normal and not to worry, come back in 1 year for annual mammo. That was all the tech would tell me. If it wasn't there before how normal can it be? Should I really not worry? Will my Dr. get a detailed report? My next door neighbor recently died of breast cancer and another neighbor was diagnosed recently. So I'm not believing it's ok.
