Well, while going through the process of intense screening because I came back positive for brca 1, they found a dense mass in my left breast. Im on my way this morning to have an MRI and a battery of other tests. All this while scheduling appointments with surgeons to see what my options are in regards to having a mastectomy. I'm a bit overwhelmed right now, and just kinda needed to vent. Has anyone else tested positve for this gene? And if so, what decision have you made as far as prevention goes?
