I had a problem with my direct TV box. I worked with the telephone tech guy last nite and we decided the box just died. I bought a new box. I came home tonite to install it. Got completely overwhelmed, almost destroyed the TV, had a margarita and tried to relax, figured I would tackle it tomorrow or schedule a service person to come in a month or so. Almost cried with frustration. Well, went back later this evening to the required physical gymnastics for trying to hook everything up -- did what I could, got back on the phone to tech support -- voila! I have TV! I DID IT MYSELF!!!!! For those who don't know me, this a major milestone to accomplish anything electronically. This is even bigger than figuring out how to mow the lawn. I have a mess around me, but the TV works! I was so dependent on my husband for 10 years, after being extraordinarily idnepenedent prior to that, but the world has completley changed in 10 years -- things I could do 10-20 years ago have no meaning anymore (think fixing cars, e.g,) -- anyway, just wanted to roar about that tonite!

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
