t's surreal...going through a mist.
It's okay to slow down; take naps. Hibernate. But also make sure you go out, get fresh air..eat right. But it will be in slow motion for awhile.
Trust me and may others here, it will get better as time goes on, but seeks some form of help.

Is there a repetetive task that you have enjoyed in the past? that might help some.
I have always had issues with focus (adhd) and have used schedules to make sure that I kept focus. Played card games for thirty minutes to Get my brain into gear to do book keeping (numbers)...little dumb things that might work for a Stressed Brain.
Seriously though, I think Larry is right. Your mind does take a bit of a vacation when you are so stressed out. Be patient "Grasshopper". This too shall pass.
Sometimes it really scares me; like I will never get my head back.
We are very accident prone when we are grieving. I was a complete zombie for a month. Locked my keys in the trunk, lost my glasses, the list goes on. It is like being in a fog. You will come out of it. I did.
