When does the Breaking Stop?

My STBX left the house 5 weeks ago. He wants to break up our marriage and now everything around me seems to be breaking. The first week he left I fell in the yard taking care of the sprinkler system and now I'm in physical therapy for a rotator cuff injury. My microwave died last week. I've had my car in the shop twice in the last 5 weeks--today I spent the entire day having a "check engine" light evaluated only to pay another chunk of change. Then when I came home this afternoon I noticed water in the pantry of my 4 year old home (probably coming from my master bath). I just fell apart. But no, I can't fall apart, because then that would be another thing that is now "broken". I think I'm a little pissed off tonight. I hope he is thoroughly enjoying his no maintenance apartment in his new no maintenance life. I'm going to church tomorrow and hoping the rafters don't break.

I really relate to your post. I have to admit the comment about the church rafters was a good one.

I would like the rain to stop, please, I neeeed a drought! Better days are coming I'm sure. I heard someone say once (I don't remember where I heard this) "I'm somewhere in my future, and I look a lot better than I look right now." I just need to get to my future soon. Thanks for your kind words. I'm praying that what has been broken can be mended (in more ways than one).

Unfortunately this whole process can't be rushed. I have had a lifetime of sadness and I want to be happy again, but I know it takes time. This is my second time and its not any easier the second time around. I did this before and I can do it again. If I can do it you can too.

I was just wondering for the 999th time today, when does the hurting stop, when does the loving stop? I've been so fortunate to be happy most of my life. (After today I was wondering, when does the money flowing out of my accounts stop? :) ). I get what you are saying about time--I just want to feel better and to stop ruminating on the why of it all. And truthfully, to stop feeling this overwhelming sense of loss.
I'm headed for bed--I plan to keep that church commitment. I'm looking forward to the rainbow and hoping love doesn't always and forever suck!!!!!!!!!

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
