So, my daughter was home from college this weekend and had a quick brunch with her dad on Sunday. He has become very religious since we separated. He really needs therapy, as he was suicidal for a while and started therapy but then just quit going against his therapist's recommendation. Apparently, he thinks church is all he needs now and he is attending church with his mom, brother and his new girlfriend that he met at church. His brother is a recovering drug addict who is now addicted to church (the only conversation you can have with him is about church). While I think church can be a great support and offer a community for building relationships, it can also lead to some extreme behavior. I think the ex is well on his way to this addictive type behavior. He actually told my daughter this weekend that she was going to hell because she doesn't go to church! What kind of thing is that to say to your daughter, especially when you only see her a few times a month? Does he really think she will want to keep spending time with him when he says stuff like that? Anyway, her response was priceless. She said, "Aren't you supposed to be a good little Christian and not judge others?" I wish I could have been a fly on the wall and seen his reaction. Anyway, I just don't understand why he seems to be trying to drive her away. I would never deny him the peace he finds at church, but one of the biggest issues I have with this type of behavior is how judgemental people become of others. He definitely hurt my daughter's feelings.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
