My lawyer said I (we) have 2 choices. 1 Go to mediation and do a seperation agreement, (which we would have to be seperated for 1 yr before we could file for a divorce) or 2 I could file for divorce on the grounds of Cruel and unusual behavior. (He wants the divorce) He's been going out every other night till 2-3am and tells me it's not my business where he is. If I fight for the house I have a good chance of getting it and he will have to pay the morgage, child support and alimony. Here's my problem, I am not sure if I really deserve all that, he's the bread winner, I have been the sahm, till recently, I got a part time job. He worked to build the house, pay the bills, morgage etc. My friends say "take it all", because he's mentally abusing me,and there might be a chance that he cheated on me in the past, but I am starting to feel guilty. Ugh, any thoughts??
