Hi. As my husband and I consider divorce, I begin to wonder whether either of us can take care of the dog we have jointly owned for 5+ years. We both agree that who ever can give the dog a better life gets the dog. However, it pains me to think that we will have to give up the dog because we both work long hours. I guess I don't want my dog to be impacted and want her to have the same life she has had with two caretakers who work different hours. Has anyone had experience with this? I really don't know how either of us can afford daycare or the pain of knowing our dog is home alone for 10 hours a day. Thanks
