The Bahamas. We swam with the dolphins, snorkled, met wonderful people, partied like we were really young, and had some of the best . .. ever!!

A safari in Kenya and Tanzania... It was my graduation gift and simply unforgettable. We took small planes from camp to camp. Slept in luxurious tents (w/ bathrooms and hardwood floors and antique furnishings). I had a Masai guarding my tent at night. And we flew in a hot air balloon over the savannah... seeing giraffes and zebras. When our hot air balloon landed, a jeep rolled in and they set up a champagne brunch right there! Simply amazing - I would love to go back!

My best friend lives in Italy. We took the kids for three weeks and had just the best time. We flew into Paris and took the train to Italy. Then hung out with her and her family. Our kids are the same age and great friends so we took a couple side trips alone and a bunch with our kids. It was so fun. I can't wait to go back single and really get to "know'' all the hot Italian men we met.

My family went on a summer vacation before I started high school. We went out west and traveled through Montana, Wyoming, Arizona...visited a ton of places like Yellowstone...and I'm a nature girl, so I was MADLY in love with everything on this trip. Best part...we went on an all day horseback ride through the Grand Teton mountains...best day of my life!!

bluebird1, the Grand Tetons are beautiful! I went up through there on a trip to Yellowstone and on our way down we went to Jacksonhole Wy and did a river raft trip that was a blast!

I agree newme, the GT are amazing. I really want to go back someday!! My family also did a rafting trip....this is the hysterical part though...our raft guide was the rodeo clown that we had seen at a local rodeo the night before. The look of panic on my mom's face was priceless!! I figured we were all in for an adventurous ride of our lives!! :)

Plenty wonderful vacation memories, hard to pick best.
Funniest ever was before I met Stbx, traveling a whole summer from racetrack to racetrack - crazy parties, crazy horses, crazy new friends and crazy places.
Most romantic was probably the trip to Netherlands with stbx a week after we met.
The vacations I miss most is our road trips here in the States, especially to west Texas and Northern New Mexico. We both liked driving around on spontaneous un-planned trips on back roads, just to see where we ended up. Actually I miss the road trips in Europe too.
Gosh, now I got sad again.

I got a little sad too, but the thought of those Italian men really cheered me up.

Yeah...I would be afraid too. lmao.

My favorite was staying at an all inclusive Resort outside Cabo San Lucas for 10 days at Thanksgiving time over 20 years ago. Deep Sea Fishing every other day, no phones, no TV, awesome villa, excellant food. It was BLISS!

Two week Transatlantic cruise. Great ports, great weather, not too many children onboard, totally relaxing. Lots of great memories.

Disney for me also. I've been there 7 times and NEVER tire of it. My entire family was there and it was AWESOME!

My next big vac is going to be a Disney Cruise. I really want to take my daughter so bad. I hear they are the only cruise line w/ fireworks.
