Ok Here is one thought. It would be a great contribution to DS if we had a couple of resident attorneys answering general questions. I know attorneys are extremely busy and do not have time to be answering questions in DS, but I wonder if some of them (specially those interested in promoting their practice) would be willing to answer basic questions here on this board.
To this end. PLEASE. IF YOU HAVE AN ATTORNEY mention DS to him/her, and tell her how many people post legal questions. Ask him/her to take a look, and that we so hope to have an attorney provide basic guidance to members. Most of these questions are very basic and related to basic rights and procedures. Maybe we can get a couple of volunteers who can review the "questions" sections once a week, and provide free non-binding suggestions/advice to our members.
So, please mention this idea to your attorney. Maybe we'll get lucky and get 1-2 volunteers.
Cheers, New.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

Additionally, the rules of the game vary so much from state to state we'd have to have at least 50 of them......
Sorry to rain on your parade sweetie..... Guess we will just have to continue to mire through the muck on our own.
Online legal help has increased significantly. I frequent a board of entertainment law, where attorneys provide free advice to basic questions about Sports and Entertainment law to producers and new agents. I know of other examples of similar setups in boards of parents dealing with special education needs. So this would not be that unusual.
