This has nothing to do with work, but, my x was planning to take the kids up north this weekend and my girl did not want to go. Trust me, I was looking forward to a weekend to myself. So he calls me and asks me first if I'll do his laundry because he's so busy with work, and second, if, I'll drive five hours up to bring the girl to him. I'm still shaking my head.

A friend of mine had the best. She worked at a gyno office and a women came in when the told her that she was pregnant she said and this is a quote "That's impossible my husband and I insert my pill everyday." My friend just about fell on the floor. I don't know what part of oral they didn't understand. The real scary part is that these two people are now parents.

I just started a new job nearly 4 months ago as a Land mapping tech. Well, when they ask where I work - I say this, and then they ask what is a map? uh, do i really have to go there on that question??!! ~shelly&jt~

I took students to the library to start a research paper. One kid asked, "Do we have to read? I like movies better!"

I've gotten into a bit of trouble in the past..when customers have asked "do I look that stupid?", or "do you think I'm crazy". I've actually had to practice looking ambivelant!

stupidist question I got this week was not a question. It was my stupid husband telling me he has been too busy this week to get back to me about my e-mail, but he has had time to call my parents and bad mouth me to them. oh and can I make therapy on monday??? WT???

Its been a while but I used to work in a tool crib. I would disburse tooling to workers in a factory setting. Safety glasses where a requirement to work there. Your post reminded me of two questions about safety glasses.

The first one was a question I asked a co worker. Did you see my glasses, I took them off and lost them? I was told that they were on my head. I had pushed them up to look at something and forgot...lol.

Another time a supervisor asked if one of his workers was at the tool crib earlier. I said, I dont know him, what does he look like? He said; "The guy with glasses." DUH....lol.

3:30 am phone rings ...I answer it

"Good morning.Thanks for calling this is Rebecca how may I help you."

"Are you open?"

"No I just hang out here all night to answer the phone in case somebody calls to see if we're open or not."

"Oh ok.When do you open?"

Duh.I guess I should have told her ....when I leave.

This was years ago and it was a statement not a question.

My youngest brother was living in an apartment my husband and I gave to him and his family so they were not homeless. He was selling drugs at the time. We were tring to bluff him scared into stopping, so we told him a friend of ours had informed us that he was being investigated and was about to be busted if he didn't get his act together.

Phone rings at about 3:30 am. My brother is on the phone all messed up stoned on lord knows what. This is the statment he made to us.

"You F#$$% liars, I called the police deparment and told them I was (first name inserted here) and asked if they were investigating me for drug trafficing."

Sure as shit, the next day we comfirmed he did do it.
