I read this quote today and thought that, like myself, it might help others.
"Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself.
And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams."

I don't have a dream. I'm just parked in neutral. All this crap just happening to me. I feel no sence of control.

Not to get too preachy on you or anything, I was in mass last weekend, and the homily the priest delivered was on this exact topic. He said that we tahnk God for the good things, but curse him for the bad things. We need to realize that this is all a part of his plan and that we have a role in it, good and bad. We should enjoy the bad because it makes us appreciate the good even more so. The bad makes us more in touch with our human nature, and as such, being creatures of free will, we can either wander through the wilderness alone or call on Him to help us out. I personally disagreed with the notion that there is a grand design to it all (I mean, come on, that smacks too much of not being to determine your own fate), but the more I heard of it, the more I felt that it was right and that yes, the good and the bad are integral to the human experience. You need them to counteract each other, and to help us remind us of who and what we are. How often do we call on help when things are going well? I requested the sermon, and when I get a copy, I will post, if there is anyone curious enough to see it.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
