This morning at breakfast my 11 year old son asked me for $15.00 to take to school to buy gifts at his schools Santas Workshop. I didn't have any cash on me so I told him if he would take some of is own money I would pay him back. This afternoon when I picked him up from school he very excitedly told me he bought presents for me and his big sister. He pulled out a big stuffed bear for Caitlin, and then said he had something for me. I told him to wait for Christmas but he said he wanted to give it to me right now. So he reached into his backpack and pulled out a plastic jewelry box, with a plastic pin that had a rose and the words "Best Mom" written on it. I burst in to tears of love for this sweet sweet little man! It is without a doubt the best present I have ever recieved and I will wear it forever!
