soooo, as we are getting close to ringing in the new year...taxes are almost ready to begin. my big question...since we aren't divorced yet, its it smarter to file seperate or together? someone told me i'll take a major hit if i file seperate, but would i save myself the headache of having to "fight" for my part of the money? i have a LOT of school deductions this year, so i don't know what to do. any suggestions?

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
