Since I have been spending an hour a day exercising for the past month I have been so impressed with my body. I am 51, I have given birth to 7 children and my body still cooperates. I have seen such a difference in just 26 days of exercising. My core strength, my balance, my clothes fit different, I have sore muscles where I didn't know I had muscles. Anyway today while I was on the treadmill I started thinking about this and what would happen if I applied this to the other areas of my life. If I tried to become emotionally fit, mentally fit, financially fit. It just was exciting. I think it would be harder to measure. But so many of us are in states of shock still that someone would leave us, that our lives have changed so dramatically. But how much are we mentally changing things. There comes the time when we have to let go, we have to replace the record that keeps playing about our break up. We need to stretch those emotional and mental muscles, we need to do the work to change. We need to take charge of our lives.
