Meditation can actually improve every aspect of our life. Yet, often we have difficulty sitting still and clearing our minds. Thoughts of work, relationships, or that long list of household chores, come creeping in, disturbing the stillness of the mind and soul that we are trying to achieve. A mantra is a sound that is repeated during meditation. Meditating with a mantra helps us to stop thinking so that we can experience spiritual consciousness, and the sounds of the mantra help guide our attention away from thinking.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. If you listen to silence you can hear God's awesome power.
Now I realize, this isn't exactly the case.
But whatever you want to call it, meditation is wonderful.
I have said this repeatedly and will not stop until you have all gone, but take yourselves to a yoga class.
I lift, I run, I go to boxing, but none of those does what yoga does which is to remove my mind from the everyday. It is wonderful and I suggest you try it.
Get a DVD if you don't have classes in your area.
