Funny you should mention BOB. My stbx bought me one years ago just for fun. Two weeks ago when I found his prescription bottle of Levitra, I handed him BOB and told him to give it to his girlfriend because she needed it more than I did.

Well....to be honest my husband and I use a vibrator in our play. I had a very smart doctor 8 years ago. He had to give me a hysotromy and then sat both my husband and my self down and told us this was going to affect our sex life, he said I will need lubracant and that a vibrator is a very good idea and to get on hormones. I was shocked at first, but I was even more shocked that my hormones changed so much, so I took his advise. It really helped us out and I think he is a very brave doctor for being so up front. To this day, I am thankful to him. :)

And yes, sometime ya just need a bottle of booze.

I dont drink but I have a bob. with my stbx a truck driver and never home I needed something. Then come to find out he was the one cheating.

I really stopped drinking, not only for the depressant factor, but for all the empty calories. And as far as a vibrator goes, I personally don't have one, and if I don't have one in my christmas stocking this year, the stbx will have more explaining to do about his purchase of a vibrating toy at the local porn shop.

I went to a passion party shortly after my divorce and there were 2 other women there who were divorcing as well... we each got our own complimentary gift bags. :) Who knew you could have so much fun without a man! LOL

The booze however was used more when I was married than now that I'm free!

My X worked overseas... so I was well acquainted with BOB...

As for alcohol, I was on anti-d's so mixing was not advised, but I still have the occasional drink (at a game, on a Saturday night etc...) but no drinking to oblivion!!! At least not yet... remember... "what happens in Vegas..."!!!

Bob can't:

1. he can't listen to you talk after a bad day at work.
2. he can't open a door for you
3. he can't make you breakfast on Saturday/Sunday morning
4. he can't wash your car for you when its dirty.
5. he can't hold your hand and go for a walk
6. he can't write you a poem telling you how beautiful he thinks you are.
7. he can't tell you how much he loves you!

MsTranquility that was a great response. I just found my bob, and don't drink. Still don't think it makes up for the real thing, but in an emergency. LOL

I agree with #11. My stbx does the alcohol, but doesn't do anything else.

Well I sure am glad there are men. My sons are amazing men, they are great dads and husbands. And I have some of the most amazing male friends. I appreciate the men on here so much. I get such good support, laughs, and advice. If we just take sex out of the equation for a little men make the world a better place. Don't get me wrong I like the men for sex, but if we get stuck on that other things get mixed up.
