Today I stood in front of the judge...by myself! His lawyer never showed. I didn't expect him to. So, I put in my motion of default, and now I wait. Technically I'm not single, or married. hmmmm....interesting how things like this happen around Halloween....

Yes, for the next three months...He has 90 days to respond to the judgement.

I thought we were all married until officially divorced. Is this some kind of new rule?

Although, I have to agree, since separating it does feel like I'm in limbo. I feel single but I have to remember I am still married until that divorce decree is issued.

Yes rose...I've been seperated for 2 years now. I had filed with him as a missing spouse and then he showed up! So I told him about the divorce proceedings and things got messy. So...he is delaying everything.

I put down divorced. Thats what I am. A good reminder to me to avoid the BS at my age. Long term proffesional singles always put down single. To each his own.

Tami...it was one of those mass civil service things...BOTH of us forgot to say "I DO" becuase we were too busy laughing at the fact that the court house was so back logged they started doing weddings "Moony" style. Does that mean we were never technically married???LOL

I have been here before, a long long time ago and now I am back.Forgive me for not just saying what I want to say,even under a triple dose of antidepressants it is still raw and seeping and I am hesitant at revealing it as at least under the bandages around my heart I don,t have to look at how raw and wounded.My child was cleaved from my heart by his own actions. my child of ten,turning eleven...
