First sign for me was whe I actully went a full day without anylizing the marriage.

Being able to eat again.

Being able to sleep for more than 2 hours at night.

Doesn't sting as much to think of her being with other men.

I did not feel like I HAD to return her call or pick up each time she called.

I also didn't feel like I didn't need to call her to pour my feelings out.

I was talking to a friend a few days ago and we were telling stbx stories.

I said "I was married to someone like that."

Then I laughed and said " AM married to someone like that"

Guess it's a sign that I'm referring to my marriage in a past tense.

Getting back into a routine and having more energy than I did when I was with him. I sleep well, I'm taking my vitamins and I'm eating well. I'm walking a lot to clear my head and be stronger. I'm not quite as angry as I was although I still haven't returned his rolex to him yet. It's more fun to keep it!

I was really low last night, I would say lower than I have been in awhile. I know that going to the gym slapping those tunes on and running on the tredmill then spinning really helps. I was already home usually I would use the excuse that I was already home, but I did not I through on my gym gear drove to the gym and worked hot hard and long I danced to my music on the tredmill bike danced while spinning and finally danced to the grocery store music before coming home.

I'm laughing more now than I have in a looooong time. I'm also crying more than usual but that's part of the healing process.... Before I was just sad and empty inside and in denial. It's good to see the progress we're making!

I was anoid when he called and hung up on him, and was able to laugh about it. He called back and I was still laughing, and he was angry to say the least. he found out I'm not his yo-yo or puppet anymore.

I guess when I started cooking again and started going out by myself again was the sure signs. Also that I think about her quite so much anymore. Or when I do I don't get all teary eyed.

I'm smiling a lot more these days and don't feel like I have to please anyone but myself.

The other sign for me was when I stopped asking what I did wrong

Being able to just BE!!!

I am at Peace for the first time in so many years. When I am Not, it is my own doings.

I am breaking rules and shredding convention. I am having Fun.

I can talk to him, cry a bit, then head off in a different direction with no regrets.

I think that indicates Strength :-D

well it's been over 90 days since any contact, when i can get through a few hours and know i didn't think about him. some mornings i wake up and he is not on my mind. all i want is for him not to be on my mind at all. then i will really know i'm healing.

Not crying everyday. Focus is going away from the stbx and more on what I need to do.

I now longer wonder "what if...", I can tell friends and co-worders without getting upset...
