My wife, who told me yesterday that nothing would change her mind about divorcing me, did agree to attend a "Save Your Marriage" conference in Las Vegas (there are several locations throughout the nation). The conference is three days and claims, through independent surveys, that every three out of four couples who attend save their marriages. I told the rep.s that there was no way would it save my marriage and that she was dead set. The rep said a lot of people say that and that there was hope. The conference alleges to break down walls and give you viable tools to make things work. The conference is designed for couples who are on the cusp, separated or even divorced. Whether your partner feels rage. bitterness or nothing at all, thousands of marriages have been saved. I find it a miracle in itself that she was willing to attend with a little help from our counsellor. And she completed the On Line homework as well. Nevertheless I have little hope. Has anyone ever attended one of these types of conferences or heard about them. "Family Dynamics" is the name of this entity and it is a bit pricey but worth the shot for me. HankMatt.
