Ok, one quick question to everyone. What kind of music helps ya'll with your process? Iv'e tried soft classical all the way to booty rap down to hate metal. (i listen to all anyways). but my prob is that everything reminds me of her. How do I block my brain out and just enjoy?
also. one thing that is getting on my nerves, maybe someone can explain to me why others say this. I hate it when ppl tell me "not to stoop to their level, be the bigger person." WHY? I am tired of being the strong one, the responible one, the one who did the best I could and it wasn't enough for her. I know others may feel the same. I say this to the post "FUCK YOU MITCH" , Im done with being the bigger person. Im just going to be me.
Again, adivce helps me.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
As far as being the bigger person goes...I believe that everyone is entitled to their won emotions when dealing with these types of things. If you feel a need to rant or say "Fuck you", then by all means, do it!
Good Luck...

That kind of stuff, no sappy love songs or sad songs.
And I don't blame ya for being tired of being the bigger person. Sometimes it gets a little old.
About being the bigger person...Sometimes it gets really tiring being the "Glenda Good Witch"...I too have always...all my fuckin life, been the responsible one..the one everyone can depend on..the mature one with all the sense. I think that's why everyone was so shocked when I told them I was getting a divorce.
Fuck him..and the whore he road in on..I'm done being Glenda Good Witch...
You don't have to be Mr. Nice all the time. It's unhealthy.

There are no sad and sappy songs, no anger and resentment, just positive and uplifting. Now I'm not talking the "Gospel Hour" on your AM station, but contemporary christian music.
It really gave me strength to
get through the difficult times and gave me hope.
As far as taking the high road...venting is a good thing, as long as it's done in a private place that isn't readily available to the general public. You don't want a potential employer finding your screed on your ex whil they're doing a background check on you.
And sometimes, as much as we want to tell the other person off, as much as they may deserve it, it honestly does pay to be civil about it.
