I'm trying to get boxes out of my new apartment.
Unfortunately, a lot of them are a jumbled mess.
I found the pictures.
So I went through them.
*sigh*
what a headache I have now!
I tore up a few :)
Then I made a toss pile (why do we keep bad pictures?)
Keep for me pile
and a pile for my stbx
I almost didn't do this and then as I went through I found pictures of him as a child, his grandparents, other family.. friends..
I'm not giving him any wedding pics because when he packed up my stuff (long story, I was not given the opportunity to get all of my stuff out on my own) he threw in any picture that had me in it or my friends. He kept my gorgeous collage frame that his mother had given to me as a birthday present but took out any wedding pics.
Anyway,
Now I have to get these pictures to him.
I don't want to mail them, don't want them to be damaged.
I don't want to see him. I've only seen him once since I left.
Is is okay to give them to a mutual friend?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
The picture thing is rough. My grown daughter and I put all the photos with the STBX in a large manila envelope and put them on the back of the shelf. It is a man who no longer exists and is too sad to look at these now. Someday, we may send them to him, when the time is right. Just not now. Don't want to stir things up.
well,
I don't see my wedding pictures that way. We meant it at the time.
I don't have them on display nor will I. But
My family is in those pictures.
My friends. And that day was a day of love and celebration.
