My STBX owns a business and makes GOOD money (about 3-4 times what I do). He has been out of the house, living with the OW, for 8 months. We are in the process of divorce and it should be finalizing around May or so, I think. I am ready for it and doing well emotionally. It's been so much healthier to be without him. Anyway, he hit me up the other day about filing our taxes TOGETHER. I am trying to see this from all angles, cuz Lord knows he SURELY has an angle in here somewhere. I have had a full time job since July, that I LOVE, but have had them taking out taxes for a single with no dependents (i didn't know who would be claiming our son and wanted to be prepared). My question, I guess, for those in the know is this.....I know this will help him immensely, but does it REALLY help me? Any help, advice would be appreciated! Thanks.
