I'm giving up chocolate this year. This is going to be very hard. I eat chocolate every day.
Good luck, medicgrl!
*running to candy jar right now before lent starts*
Oh man. It's going to be miserable around here, between me and Julie!
And eyeball, you can't give up what you're not doing! That's a rule! Uhhh, unless of course, you're doing it! Are you doing it, eyeball?
According to soon, that's like saying I'm giving up liver and onions!
Sacrifice does have its place however.
so... chocolate is always a good one...ya... or even coffee!.. cleanse the bod for 40 days....yikes...is it really that long?
Someone hold me PLEASE! So I guess I am giving it up too. Not that I want to. *cry* I need my Battlestar Galactica and American Idol.
I am going to start to work out more. I have been too sick and feeling kind of frumpy these days.
Sweet- Sorry about your TV. :-( I very seldom watch TV although I do love the United States of Tara on Showtime. So that one would be way to easy for me. Sorry you have been sick but I hope you are feeling better now.
Puple- I like the idea of adding something good. We could add happy thoughts to our day through Lent. That would be easy. Just one happy thought a day!
CRose- I gave up chocolate and sweets last year. Very seldom eat them now. I kind of lost the taste for chocolate after that.
Everyone that is observing Lent, good luck to you
Actually, I'm Catholic and I don't give up anything as much as I try to do something more--pray, go to the gym, do something good for people, be more patient with my students.
