Get your mind out of the gutter for those following the Bo peep theme lately.
The city of Toronto has recently stepped up efforts at enforcing leash laws. In fact they hired numerous by-law enforcement officers.
I'm taking Iggy for his morning constitutional, it's gorgeous this morning. The sun is warm, not a cloud, the sun is coming up over the lake. Iggy and I are the only ones on the beach. And then, in the distance, a sinister silhouette approaches. I see by his outline that he has something in his right hand, that looks suspiciously like a ticket book. SH*****T. I just start running the opposite direction, all the while I hear "Sir".... "Sir".... "Sir". Iggy finally follows me, he's off leash and was playing in the water. Anyhow we make it to a very major street and cross just when the light is changing. So long suckaahhh.
We evaded a $240- dollar ticket this morning. I'm all for by-laws, but a little discretion is required by the officers. Iggy and I were literally the only ones there and this idiot was getting ready to ticket me for having a dog off leash. Screw, him, he should learn to run faster on sand. That got my heart going his am, made me think I need to start running more often. I've got to lay low for the next few days and take the dog to a different park.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I've been hiding away from those ticket-hungry mongers in the morning as well. When I see someone suspicious, I just hide my dog under my sweater. She's teeny-weeny!
Too funny!!!

Don't you have real crime in Canada? You actually have special officers to enforce the leash law?
Call your ex aand ask her if she would come and walk youd dog. Tell here you lost his leash and that it will be ok to let him run with out a leash.
Then leand her the same coat you waore when you walked the dog.
