So I get asked to play ball for this coed team. I'm warming up at short but usually play second all is well and the first baseman is throwing grounders. I get a couple of good throws in then I say I'm good. A little later she throws me one last one and I really pepper it in to her but she got distracted. I hit her square in the jaw. She had a contusion bigger than a golf ball within a few minutes. She was able to bat but didn't play the field. I guess I won't be playing with that team again. She is going to be black and blue for weeks.
