This is my 2nd 'Thanksgiving' this year, I guess I have a lot to give thanks for LOL. My first was 9/3 with the Grillbillies camping at the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival. Since we don't camp this time of year, Thanksgiving is on Labor Day.
If I went to Canada in October, I guess I could have 3 Thanksgivings. LOL
I decided last NYE that 2007 would be my best year and Gratitude has been my word to remember since March.
It's now over a year I'm on my own (2/06), over a year since my last cigarette (4/26/06), over a year since becoming debt free (10/30/06) for the first time in over 8 years, my health since May has been the best in 2 decades, and hopefully next year will build upon the awesomeness of this year.
Even while alone last year, for the first time ever on TG, I had enough to be grateful, looking forward, not back.
Lemonade is good, but Limeade is better :)
Namaste everyone.

My chiropractors help me keep my head on straight LOL, Wayne Dyer helps me keep looking forward, and my sick sense of humor helps me deal with the carp :)

Here! Here! To sick senses of humor getting us through crap! Honestly, if I wasn't such a fan of gallow's humor I haven't the slightest idea what I would do. Also a HUGE congrats on how long you have been cigarette free...I need to stop myself (just started this last January). You, my friend, are an inspiration!

Thanks. I never realized how easy quitting smoking would be... all I had to do was get separated from my family!

Congratulations, that is a huge accomplishment. You are invincible and I am sure wonderful successes will continue to come your way.

This is the first year I've felt anywhere near that. I hope it continues. April/May was a rebirth, I'm hoping seeds for the future were planted this year. I'll see after I get my diploma... I never got a college degree, so I'll just have to frame my marital decree. I'm graduating. Been paroled.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
