I send boxes to soldiers all year long to Iraq/Afghanistan. There is a site called Anysoldier.com and you can read what soldiers post and what they need. They all need girl scout cookies. And when the boy scouts sell popcorn I send that to soldiers that have access to microwaves. I send lots of other stuff as well. If you get a flat rate box at the post office (this year the post office gives you a little break on the postage if it's to an APO address) and just fill it up. Send it off. You'ld be surprised what our government doesn't provide for these guys/gals and how many are over there covering our ass who don't have family to send them stuff or their families are too poor. Breaks your heart!
