I was wondering about my weight, since I am eating more now, and found this formula. Maybe someone else might like to use it.
Am I obese?
Am I obese? Body Mass Index (BMI) is a scientific way of measuring obesity done with mathematics. The American Obesity Association explains it as your weight in pounds divided by your height in inches squared, multiplied by the number 704.5. If your score is between 25 and 29, you are overweight. If it is 30 or over, you are obese. If it is 40 or more, you are severely obese. However, this can be misleading if you are very muscular, pregnant, or lactating.
According to the American Obesity Associations website, there are many factors that impact a persons health risk relative to their BMI such as waist size, smoking, the types of foods someone eats regularly, exercise, and medical conditions associated with obesity including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and coronary heart disease.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I'm 22

A ggod saying I like... To insure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life.
Height in Inches squared times 704.5 divided by pounds equals twenty four point three. This one sounds better to me but it dont match the formula...anyone know math????
