Your in your new life. You have a great spouse now. Tell me how your weekend would go this weekend if that were true. (If we don't dream we won't have anything to work twards--Let's get dreaming.)
Ok
I'd have a tall manly man who has a flair for affection.
We get up have a lazy morning with the kids jumping in our bed to wake us up.
We get up throw together a great omlett and pancakes for the kids. Read the paper.
Then oh If it were perfect I'd head out for a body of water. Some sun and water fun. I don't care boating, water skiing, tubing or sailing. I love it all. I grew up on the water but my kids haven't experienced it yet. A shame because I love it so much!!!
We wear ourselves out swimming and playing. I teach the kids to boogie board and build castles.
Go home for some pizza and beer. My hubby rolls his eyes because he cannot understand why I think ham and pineapple tates good on pizza but I order it anyways.
After dinner I throw the kids in the tub scrub them clean and throw them in those cute jammies with the feet. We all goof around reading tickling. My daughter dresses up like a princess and envites us to tea (common occurance) We all participate. Then off to bed the go.
Ah the evening is ours. We chat about the little things. Then I get a wild hair and go find something sexy and black. (haven't done that in years--haven't wanted to.) Well the rest I can't talk about with out blushing but lets just say we both go to sleep smiling. (that's a novel thought!) Sigh!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
....I would say; Thanks for leaving me with a million dollars! ...as I bent over to lay flowers on her grave.
lol...dont know really.
we get up and shower and get dressed and go out for a great romantic lunch and just driving around, he holds my hand in the car.
we get home and snuggle on the couch and watch a sad love story with his arm around me and he is gently amused at my tears. we go to bed and read for a while and then we spoon and he gently tells me how much he loves me and is grateful i'm in his life.
Sorry, best I can do! The thought of a really great spouse is just so foreign to me! Not sure what I would do with one if I had one!
So my dream right now is to find a house with an ocean view. My dream weekend would be to be emotionally healthy and have my energy back so I could enjoy my new house and take a walk on the beach.
Ok, my new spouse........
We would have woke up at around 11:00 because he likes to sleep in too. After we made love we would have gone to IHOP for all day breakfast. We'd plan our day in a booth behind the kid who keeps offering us french fries. We would take a drive to take photo's of the colors od fall..inside knowing that the best daylight is gone because we slept in. Eventually, I would start complaining about the cold weather and we would head home to warm up. Before heading in we would go to the video store to get our entertainment for the night. Then we'd order in and cozy up in front of the tv tonight.
This is just based on my laziness. Hopefully my new man wouldn't be as lazy as me.
I have the worst luck with the opposite sex.
So my ideal weekend would be getting the kids and just doing dad things with them and not having my ex start a fight when I dropped them off.
Husband Wanted: Filthy Rich Beyond Belief, no heirs, older gent..late 90s, heart condition, deaf, blind in one eye, one foot in the grave the other on a banana peel.
okie dokie.. well I did find the perfect spouse, we met during the time we were both separated, hurting...in need of a friend...and we are friends .. still. Unfortunately dreams do not always come true.
We are going to re-visit this when our collective families.. 7 kids in total are older.. and one of us is willing to move a half a world away.
He always commented that we should of met 20 years before.. how life would of been different.. oh well we can dream still.
But if I had my perfect man THIS weekend, and everything were perfect and settled this weekend too... I think my dream would actually be a lot like yours zippid, except it'd involve a lot of kids jumping on the bed, chocolate chunk pancakes, a ride into the mountains instead of to the lake, and a supreme pizza for me. :)
